Blogging…again? Absolutely!

Life Is Quite The Roller-coaster

It’s been a few years since I had written my first post here…

Actually, it’s been quite the roller-coaster ride… filled with all its ups and downs (may write more on that as time goes on.) But… we can be blessed in both, right? Over the last few years, my little one and I have moved into our first apartment and it’s been an interesting journey, her first words when seeing her room being “I FINALLY got my own room! I CAN’T WAIT TO MAKE A MESS IN IT!” Well….at least…she’s honest? ๐Ÿคฃ

She’s been doing amazing in homeschooling and growing in her love of sports (especially soccer and basketball) and along side of that she totally loves dressing up, watching trains, exploring outside for cool rocks, bugs, and anything she can find. She loves life! And it’s a beautiful thing ๐Ÿ™‚

And can you believe it? She just lost her first two teeth in just a week! I mean, don’t they usually come out one at a time? It totally caught me off guard…I thought they only got loose/came out one at a time? The first one was loose and she just pulled it out without any fear (talk about a first-time mom moment; I immediately had her to rinse with salt water and put gauze on the gum and made icicles to help keep the gum from swelling). Then, tonight, during dinner, her second tooth just fell out! They really grow up too fast, don’t they? One moment you’re meeting them and holding them in your arms…and the next? It’s like I blinked and she’s almost 6 and a half (still saying the darnedest things) , losing teeth…where did all the time go??

I’m learning to embrace new experiences and growing as a first-time mom(of 6 years), while juggling the demands of working from home and eagerly establishing my P.O.D (Print On Demand) store. All the while , I handle all aspects of ‘home’ life, from everyday cooking and cleaning, teaching and spending time with my daughter, and working from home to pursuing courses that enhance my skills and allow me to engage in activities I’m truly passionate about. Adding to the excitement, our family has welcomed a new member – Butterball, a charming red nose pitiful/boxer mix whom we just got towards the end of last summer. Isn’t he just the most adorable boy? ^.^ โค (and he’s amazing with kids too!)

Journeying Back Into Blogging

I took a break after the first couple/few posts …trying to figure out different things in our lives here. I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be back here blogging on WP ..let alone blogging in general. To be honest I’m not really quite sure why I’m back in it now or what drew me back into wanting to (and am still working on figuring it out as I go.)

Maybe it’s a love for writing? (Even when unsure of what to write about or still figuring out my ‘niche’)…frankly, this blog might just turn into a mommy rambling novel space (until I figure that out, and maybe even after). If you’re not interested in reading, that’s absolutely fine; I’m sure there are other mommy blogs or different blogs in general that you might find intriguing. If you do decide to continue reading, then welcome; grab a cup of your favorite coffee, tea, or juice, this may just be the space for you! Warning: You might encounter food puns as this blog unfolds…#FoodPunsAreBestPuns and this momma? #NotAshamedToUseThem! Once I’m on a roll….all I need is some butter ๐Ÿ˜…

If you’re reading this, feel free to drop a comment and say hello. Being a new mom/or first time mom/or second time (or third etc.) time mom can be both exciting and overwhelming, so having a supportive community is essential. In this journey of motherhood, it’s wonderful to connect with other moms who understand the joys and challenges that come with raising children. Let’s walk this path together, sharing experiences and learning from each other. As we navigate the ups and downs of mom life, we can offer guidance, support, and encouragement to one another. Together, we can create a nurturing and empowering environment for our children to thrive and grow as we learn to lead, guide, teach and train them .

As for me I think I may make a cup of tea and either draw for a bit or watch some heartland (possibly both) before going to sleep since little love is all tuckered out. May the Lord bless and watch over you, may His angels surround you and your children, guiding and safeguarding you in every step. Have a blessed evening and an utmost wonderful day tomorrow!
